Writers Festivals & Literary Events in Melbourne & Victoria 

Held every July, the Mildura Writers Festival presents four days of words, food and wine featuring Australian and international writers. Established and emerging writers are acknowledged through the Philip Hodgins Memorial Medal presented to a consistently outstanding Australian writer and the Tina Kane Emergent Writer Award. Throughout the weekend, invited guests and audience members intermingle freely, sharing an experience that provides thoughtful, entertaining and challenging ideas about writing and literature.
