This day is World Water Day. It has been celebrated since 1992 and each  year has a different theme. It focuses on the importance of fresh water to the world and its inhabitants and raises awareness regarding the importance of the sustainable management othis precious resource. Brighton Sunday Market

Produce at Brighton Sunday Market, Adelaide

The Brighton Sunday Market is one of South Australia's biggest open air markets with a large range of fresh produce, food stalls and food vans, along with local arts and crafts, antiques, collectibles and a wide variety of pre-loved treasures.

The Brighton Sunday Market is held on the second and fourth Sunday of every month, except when those fall on Easter Sunday, ANZAC Day, Christmas Day or Boxing Day.

Gepps Cross Treasure Market

Held in the grounds of a drive-in cinema, the Gepps Cross Treasure market offers a wide range of trash and treasure and the opportunity to set up a stall or car boot. White Hat is particular impressed with the range fresh produce. It various in quality but there is plenty that is top rate and about a third the price you would pay in a supermarket. No wonder the cars queue along Main North Road on a Sunday morning in order to get a park and stock up for the week. More details at Gepps Cross Treasure Market.
