The Tesselaar Tulip Festival in the Dandenong Ranges just outside
Melbourne has become one of the iconic spring events in Melbourne. Each
weekend is dedicated to a different theme celebrating Turkey, Holland and
Ireland with another weekend dedicated to jazz and local food and wine.
There is a seniors week plus two kids weeks to coincide with the school
holidays. Visitors can wander around brightly coloured fields of tulips and
other flowers as well as engaging in a range of activities or enjoying the
food and country air. White Hat can recommend the festival as somewhere
every Melbourne family should visit at least once and it is also a great
place to take visitors. Full information at the
Tesselaar Tulip Festival
website.
