The North Melbourne Town Hall is currently branded as the "Arts House"
and is home to a number of Melbourne's smaller arts organisations. It is
heavily used for theatre and performances and is usually substantially used
	by the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
The official publicity states: "Arts House is a City of Melbourne
initiative which supports the arts and makes Melbourne a more creative and
liveable city, programming contemporary art across two North Melbourne
venues: Arts House, North Melbourne Town Hall and Arts House,
	Meat Market.
Arts House, North Melbourne Town Hall presents an annual curated
presentation program and also features flexible performance spaces,
rehearsal rooms, office and administrative infrastructure. Each
September/October, Arts House, North Melbourne Town Hall hosts the Melbourne
	Fringe Festival hub."
