North East Victoria is renowned for a large diversity of produce including wines, nuts, olives, stonefruit, apples, prime beef, lamb, vegetables, honey, cheese and citrus. The Murray Cod, indigenous to the Lake Mulwala and the River Murray is also farmed and sold at this market. Organic tea also. The rich diversity of farm produce at this farmers' market entices anyone interested in food or foodie products. It is also a great way to meet and chat with regional producers. |

Albury Wodonga Region Food & Wine Festival

The Festival kicks off with a 'foodie' film on Friday night, followed by the popular Fashion in Food parade on Saturday as well as Brunch on Dean at various cafes & restaurants. Sunday is the Producers Picnic with Celebrity Cook-Off competition, kids activities and music and the grand finale on Monday -The Celebration of Bread where we launch the community Wood Fired Oven. |

Qantas In Flight Magazine chooses
White Hat
Cemetery Tour as its featured Australian tour for May
There are many fine historical tours
throughout Australia including cemetery tours. From these, the
prestigious Qantas In Flight Magazine has chosen the White Hat Tour
of Melbourne Cemetery as its featured Australian tour for the May
2007 edition. This tour was also featured by ABC radio on 24 May and
will feature in a documentary series on Burke and Wills to be shown
on European television in 2008. The tour has been operating for many years and has won
praise from a wide range of sources. This is not a dry and stuffy
tour but in keeping with all White Hat offerings it is Informed,
Intelligent, Independent (and occasionally) Irreverent. You can find
