South Melbourne Market is a large undercover market with a wide range of produce and general goods. It is a White Hat favourite for finding last minute gifts and on Sundays all its food stalls are operating while there is only a limited number of produce stalls open at the Victoria Market on Sundays.Many Melbournians swear by the hearty dim sims available at one of the perimeter shops, although White Hat prefers the more delicate freshly made dumplings and seafood rolls available at the Chinese store in the deli section.
